March - Waiting for Baby Gustav

Well, this is the latest baby belly picture. I would like to say that I'm all baby, but the bakery around the corner can tell you otherwise! Still, as you can see, I'm ready to pop anytime now! We will keep you posted on any additions to our family.

Yes, we still had snow in March, and LOTS of it. It snowed for a week straight in early March. We loved it, but the cold is getting a bit old. This picture is my first ever snow man. Daniel didn't like to share the bat, but I tried to make an LSU baseball player!

We visited a wonderful town on the other side of the Neckar River - Ladenburg.
Scott had looked at a home for us there, but it wasn't as nice as ours. Still, the town is really neat. It is one of the few towns in Germany which still has a wall surrounding it. The picture of Scott and Daniel was taken in the center of the town.

This is Daniel, looking cool with his (previously Ellen's) LSU visor and sunglasses. He's eating one of his favorites these days, yogurt. 101 Dalmations has become one of his favorite movies, so "dog" goes everywhere with us.

Daniel has made some friends in his German playgroup and now has joined a gym and exercise group with our neighbor. He loves the jumping and rolling, sliding and climbing. His first week he hesitated with this jump in the picture, but this week, he seemed to have lost all fears. It has been a good lesson in turn-taking, as I use all my strength to hold him back during another child's turn!

Since Gran is here, and Baby Gustav is not, we have had some time to sight see. This is Daniel and my mom in Neustadt on a rainy day. Still, the town is lovely and has lots of nice shops and sights to see. Oh, and "The Creperie" is an okay spot to get out of the rain!
